EXECUTIVE COACHING

PowerNotes CEO, MaryAnn Lawrence, has had the opportunity to provide Executive Coaching to new State WIOA Directors, Local Workforce Area Executive Directors, Workforce Board Chairs, Core Program Partner Leaders, and workforce organization supervisors.

Are you a new member of an Executive Leadership Team? Have you just been promoted to a supervisory position? Are you facing new normal transitions from before the pandemic to after the pandemic? Do you need to develop and deploy a corrective action plan? Executive coaching can support you in achieving professional competence and confidence in your ability to lead and manage people and projects.

Have questions about supervision, agency evaluations, personnel evaluations, fee-for-service, continuous improvement, reengineering, leadership, strategic planning, business planning, performance management dashboards, process analysis, policy development, procedure creation, fund raising, marketing, project management, time management, and anything related to being a high performing leader?

Leading is different from managing in that reason and logic often do not play a role in decision-making and the options that you have. It can be difficult to ask people in your work circle for answers. If you ask your funding source, it can cause a micro look at how things have been done before that and could cause problems; if you ask your employees, they may have a preferred answer and steer you in a specific direction or lose respect for your ability to lead; and, if you ask your peers they may lead you down a path that fits their demographic but not yours. The safe answer is to have a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and proven coach to bounce ideas off, discuss options, assist with skill building, provide feedback on decisions contemplated, and to get direction on where to find guidance on specific issues.

MaryAnn serves as an objective coach, guide, mentor, consultant, and confidant. Check out the possibilities!
